Preparing for Asylum

About two weeks ago, me, D and one of our good friends went to the Lincoln Asylum Steampunk festival, sadly we went on the Sunday and the weather was terrible! However, we had a great time admiring the costumes and I had great fun working out what I was going to wear - D very enthusiastically and patiently helped me assemble outfits out of things I already had in my wardrobe to get some Steampunk-esque garb. I loved this outfit the best which used my floor-length silk skirt, but we looked at the weather in advance and I decided I didn't want to risk it getting ruined, so went with a trouser outfit instead.
